In a minute or two, I’ll be on the road with nothing but my bike, some gear, and a little extra gas.  The only things that have truly made me happy in my life are motorcycles and travel.  What better way to spend my life than by riding my bike around the world.  I don’t have plans.  I don’t have a route.  I’m going to spend my days enjoying the ride and when I feel like stopping, I’ll get off and talk to some people.  When I feel like planting some roots, I’ll find an easy job and enjoy my surroundings until it’s time to move on.  This will be the best time of my life.

I’m going to dedicate www.motohippie.com to the ride and its preparations.  While I’m finishing my job here in Spain, I’ll keep daily posts at blog.myspace.com/motohippie.  I appreciate all the support you guys have given me so far, and I look forward to giving it back in the form of a little entertainment and light reading.
